everything:

fast.

and I,

at my own pace

happily and in contentment.

and I held my pen again, after moments

but my words felt lost: verses are strangers

they hit off on the first rhyme, but don’t feel right on the next line

my words, they found home in you

now, they’re just familiar. feelings I knew

but I guess that’s how the writer and the reader should be, just –

acquainted.
